Neverland Book Tours

Today is the start of the tour for The Eye of Elektron by Leigh G. Wynn. This is a YA sci-fi novel.

About the Book

Two souls from different realms. Bound by sacrifice. Torn by fate.

For eleven years, Sumrects have trapped humans in an alternate realm where an ancient evil brews, awaiting its nemesis…

A nineteen-year-old human stands in the way, but she does not know it yet…

Dawn has more pressing matters at hand.

Competition to be Portrait Artist at Crimson Estate is fierce. One hour to paint. One lives. One dies. And participation is not voluntary.

To save her brother’s life, Dawn ensures her own execution by painting a magical device the Sumrects despise—the Eye of Elektron. Banned from use, the Eye of Elektron has not functioned since the failed human rebellion against Sumrectian tyranny eleven years ago.

Somehow, it comes to life in her hands...

And captures the attention of Ansel Cassadian, the most powerful Sumrect in a thousand years. Strangely, he seems to know everything about her difficult past—a past that holds the key to her future.

As evil threatens to destroy all she holds dear, Dawn must reawaken the Eye of Elektron in time to free the humans and save the Sumrect who risked his destiny to protect her.

Content Warnings: The book contains no cursing or sexual content beyond light kissing. There is mild violence involved in the fighting scenes, but nothing too graphic and inappropriate for young adults.

Tour Schedule

October 18: Neverland Book Tours

October 19: The Adventures of a Traveler's Wife

October 20: Adventurous Bookworm

We have a new cover reveal for Loving Gavin by Pixie Perkins. The cover reveal is scheduled for October 25th. This is a YA contemporary.

Content Warning: Loving Gavin will stay within these parameters.

all the romantic moments (possibly with a little more steam)

mild suggestive content (pg to pg-13, depending on the books' themes)

possibly some drinking (if underage drinking occurs, it won't be common)

terms like "i curse" and "she/he curses" (along with screwed/freaking/BS/etc.)

on-page sex (it could be implied or talked about, but that's it)

crude sexual jokes/commentary (humor and flirting are portrayed without being explicit)

"actual" language (no swearing unless it's interrupted early on)

full nudity in a sexual way (if undressing occurs, it won't go past undergarments)

How far would you go to keep your crush a secret?

Mckessey Owens is in love with Gavin Miller (aka: her best friend’s older brother). Does anyone know about her feelings for him? HECK. NO. And she doesn’t want them to. So, it’s understandable that she freaks out when her partially written love letter for Gavin falls into the hands of her nemesis, Alex Miller (aka: her best friend’s evil twin).

Alex always manages to ruin EVERYTHING and Mckessey isn’t willing to let him sabotage her crush on Gavin, which is why she comes up with a crazy lie instead: she tells Alex the letter is about him.

Unfortunately, he’s not convinced and wants her to prove it.

Desperate to keep the truth hidden, Mckessey asks to be his girlfriend. And even though it’s very clear that he’s not interested in her—Alex agrees to them becoming a couple, expecting to be right about the whole thing.

But it’s only a matter of time until Mckessey finds out that pretending to be in love with one brother while secretly pining over the other brother is no easy task; especially when she has ZERO dating experience and starts realizing that Alex might not be as horrible as she thought…

Lacking experience, Kion fears he might only bring more embarrassment upon those he loves. And with his biggest tormentor awaiting him in the competition and a dark army mobilizing to the north, his quest for redemption may come to a swift and painful end.
Can a simple shepherd learn to master his blade before his hopes and his people are crushed?

We are so excited for the release of Promise Me Aloha on October 5. We will be celebrating with a single day bookstagram tour and we'd love to have you participate.

How can two people come together when everything else is falling apart?

Olive Galloway always knew that Brander Delacroix wasn't going to date until he found the girl he wanted to marry, and she's still marveling over the fact that he decided to date her. But he did, which means it isn't much of a surprise when he drops down on one knee in the sand the year after Olive graduates from college. What does come as a surprise is the sudden realization that she'll no longer be Olive Galloway living at home with Grams and Macie. She'll be Olive Delacroix, building a new life in Hawaii with one of her very best friends.

With that understanding, however, comes a tidal wave of pressure. Between bothersome dealings with soon-to-be in-laws, a mountain of over-the-top wedding preparations, and a trio of explosive family secrets, Olive begins to wonder if she'll be able to make it down the aisle with all of her hair intact. She's thankful for Jazz, her best friend, who is ready and willing to support her through it all, but she can't help wondering why Jazz hasn't found a happily ever after of her own.

As the wedding day draws near and one final devastating secret comes to light, Olive's perfect world comes dangerously close to spinning off its axis. It will take plenty of faith and prayer (and no small amount of shave ice) to set things right before the wedding bells begin to ring and she promises Brander her aloha...forever.

When she is around him, or when he simply touches her, Emma's pain is lifted. Her sorrow and misery are gone, and her soul seems to literally sing. Suddenly, living doesn't seem as difficult anymore—and, for the first time in as long as she can remember, she feels alive.

As Emma learns the truth behind her parents’ deaths, she realizes that everything she has ever known about herself, the world, and even the universe has all been a lie. As secrets from her parents’ past come to hunt her down, and now that she actually wants to live, will Emma have the strength to do so?

When you have lost your heart, sometimes, you find your soul.

Today is the tour kickoff for Empire of Blood. Neverland Book Tours is excited to be hosting and we cannot wait to see all the posts. We hope you follow along.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Lilly Faine is tired of classmates dissing her family, and doesn’t care when she receives suspension for nearly punching the lights out of a classmate. Her father isn’t crazy, even if he does spout stories about a world full of magic, a cruel king who hunted him, and has a shattered amulet that tingles when Lilly touches it.
When an old enemy appears under Chicago’s beloved Bean, Lilly and her brother Gabriel are shoved into the impossible world their father believed in. Alone on opposite ends of a war, they race to rescue each other. Lilly finds aid and friendship in a band of rebels, but she is also hunted by the emperor’s personal assassin. Gabriel gains the help of the emperor, but Gabriel’s choices to do good may lead him into dark shadows he can’t find his way out of.
Magic thrums within their reach, promising aid, and Lilly and Gabriel both must decide if the magic they seek – and the causes for which they now fight – is worth the risk of their souls.

Content Warning: Two characters share a kiss. War/battle is a prominent element, so there are wounds and death, but no gore. One of the MC whips two characters. Language does contain a tiny amount of minor curses, such as “hell,” “damn,” and “bastard.”

About the Author

Olivia Cornwell is a storyteller with a love of dragons and magical worlds. She writes stories of hope and redemption and familial relationships, and far too many sarcastic characters. She writes to entertain her readers (and may or may not collect their tears along the way) and share the truth of her Creator. At least when she isn’t struggling to control her characters, drinking a lot of coffee, or hoarding chocolate.
She hides out in Ohio, and in her spare time Olivia cuddles her niece and nephews, and yowls back at her cat (who is most likely her familiar). She also enjoys adopting the characters from her friends’ novels and keeping them safe from their own dangers.
